Seriously, Hulk, she’s an adult…and other assorted Impact notes.

So, I just caught up on Impact from last night, and honestly, this Hulk/Brooke/Bully Ray thing just makes me shake my head every time I see it.  So, we’ve got Hulk Hogan mad at Bully Ray solely for either being interested in or dating his daughter.  His adult daughter, mind you.

Now, I know that until this whole Aces & Eights thing, Bully Ray probably wasn’t the man that you’d want your daughter cavorting with, but over the last three or four months, he’s been nothing but the guy standing up and fighting for Impact.  Honestly, he’s probably THE main guy right now that’s involved in this whole A&E thing, since their big babyface champion in Jeff Hardy can’t really seem to be bothered with the whole situation.  Since this is wrestling and 3-4 months ago might as well have been the Dark Ages, why’s Hogan all upset about this?

I do like that they’re trying to play Bully Ray off as trying to win Hogan over, though.  He could easily be playing the douchebag role on this one, but he’s actually trying to be a good guy, which makes Hogan’s shunning of him all the more aggravating from my standpoint.

I’m calling it now, though, that when Hogan finally accepts him, Bully Ray returns to his heel roots…

On to Christopher Daniels and Kazarian.

I hate to admit, but the last few episodes of Impact got deleted off my DVR before I really ever watched them.  For some reason, I just wasn’t in the mood to play Impact’s games those weeks, so it got removed.  It wasn’t until I read Tom Holzerman’s Wrestling Blog (link found in the links section) and saw the stuff he was posting about Daniels and Kazarian that I decided I needed to at least see what those guys were up to before I made that decision about Impact again.  One of the things Tom points out is that Daniels and Kazarian seem to be the only two guys on Impact that look like they’re having any fun, and that definitely seems to be the case.  Those two guys look to be having a blast.  Top it off with the fact that they’re both funny and great wrestlers and I can honestly say that they’re my favorite part of TNA right now…especially since they’re finally free of the Claire Lynch garbage they had to deal with over the summer.  Seeing them get Santa a pair of Zubaz was pretty awesome, I must say.  More of these guys, please!

Also…one last thing…any time TNA runs an ad with a date attached…it’s Sting.  It’s always been Sting…it will always be Sting.  What I want to know, though, is how can someone “return” when he wasn’t really written of TV…he just kinda stopped showing up.  They do this all the time with Sting and it’s maddening.  Sting being off TV for a year after, say, being injured by Aces & Eights, then coming back after A&E have run Impact like a dictatorship for over a year to clean up…that’s an awesome return for Sting.  Showing up after just not being on TV for 3 weeks?  That’s lame.
