Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS. First and foremost I need to point out that this RAW emanates from The BI-LO Center located in Greenville, South Carolina. This arena has a special place in my heart as well as fellow Kick Out at 2 member and best friend Mr. Derick Body. It was 5 Years ago in this same location that we attended our 2nd Monday Night RAW and witnessed the 2008 “King of The Ring” tournament. Over the last 5 years a lot has changed over the course of the WWE but the Carolinas will always be known as Wrestling Country so just like in 2008 this crowd was ready to see the sport we all know and love. That being said it’s time for this fan to break down tonight’s best moments in my recurring segment…RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) Paul Heyman – Why isn’t this man the General Manager of RAW yet!? Everything this man does is just pure wrestling genius. He reminds me so much of what a “authority” figure should be in the world of professional wrestling. Every since CM Punk dropped his name in his infamous promo, Paul Heyman has once again been relevant in the world of WWE. Paul remains to be the mouth piece of Brock Lesnar and just having him on the show is simply awesome for all of us Paul Heyman Guys out there.

2) Brock Lesnar – Seeing Brock Lesnar hit the F-5 on anyone just puts a smile on my face. To me this man never should have left WWE, he is just the kind of talent the WWE needs on a more regular basis. There is no doubt he would be the front man of the company had he never left the WWE to begin with. Seeing him destroy 3MB made my night. The fact that he has challenged Triple H to a cage match at Extreme Rules makes me extremely happy. The “Ruthless Aggression” Wrestling fan in me from 200 1 is nothing but happy to see this match shaping up.

3) Randy Orton and Sheamus as a Tag Team –Randy and Sheamus have been working well together as a team the last couple times they have been paired up. The Brogue Kick/RKO Combo is awesome and really gets the fans pumped up. Orton’s mannerisms just scream a heel turn. Pairing two of Smackdown’s most popular Superstars together and giving them solid wins will no doubt generate a fan buzz for this team, making Orton’s inevitable heel turn all the more meaningful if and when he’s allowed to play the role he was born to.

4) Kofi Kingston Winning the United States Championship – I’m a fan of Kofi and have enjoyed his run in WWE since his debut. His run with CM Punk as Tag Teams Champions is still probably my favorite story that he has been involved in. As much as I like seeing Kofi win another mid-card title I would really like seeing him step up to the World Title contendership.

5) Team Hell No! Kane and Daniel Bryan are victiums of WWE’s random pairing of Tag Teams, however its a pairing that has been more than successful. They have been the WWE tag Team Champions for 212 Days and I hope they continue to restore credibility to the titles. Seeing Daniel Bryan incorporate the diving headbutt into his repertoire and winning matches with it really makes me happy. Daniel is a major player and will no doubt return to the WWE/World Title picture once they drop the tag titles. In the meantime though I will continue to enjoy the antics of Team Hell No!

6) The Brothers of Destruction Reunion Announced – It was announced tonight that The Brothers of Destruction would reunite next week on RAW. Together with Daniel Bryan they will take on The Shield. The fact that two Legends from the Attitude Era will be in the ring with “Indy Guys” and newer young talent will be a thing any wrestling fan will not want to miss.

7) Ryback’s Promo – The comic book fan in me couldn’t help but smile ear to ear once Ryback spoke the following words to Cena…“If you are Superman, say hello to Kryponite!” This promo is the main reason most wrestling fans love heels as apposed to baby faces. Heels, for the most part actually speak the truth in what they say and their actions are usually justified. Ryback’s promo did a very good job of highlighting this fact. The Rayback vs John Cena feud will probably be the recurring feud that will lead us into Summerslam. Ryback has firmly established himself as a major player and one of the future top stars as the company continues to move forward.

8) CM Punk addressing The WWE Universe – It’s no secret that CM Punk is hurt and will be taking time off. Actions speak louder than words and during this promo that statement has never seemed truer. Punk loves this business, he loves what he does and takes pride in being the Best in The World. The connection CM Punk had with he crowd tonight has established he has earned respect of most everyone that watches RAW. The way Punk handled this reminded me so much of when Shawn Michaels “Lost his Smile” and had to leave for awhile due to injury. Just like Shawn, Punk will return to WWE, pick up right where he left off and continue to make an impact in a way only the “Second City Saint” is able to do.

Well there you have it folks, a quick rundown of some of my favorite thoughts and moments pertaining to this week’s episode of RAW. Be sure to check back next Tuesday for the next issue of… RAW IS XANATOS.
