Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS! Honestly this edition of RAW was just kinda bland. It had a few good moments but nothing really to write home about. Monday Night Raw will be live next week from Roanoke, VA. I have been on the fence about trying to attend this event but with no CM Punk and trying to build a show around a hurt champion I believe I will just save my money. For the first time in 16 Years RAW will be in my area and I’m probably going to pass simply based on the lack of buzz from tonigh’ts show. However just like last week this one wasn’t without a few shining spotlights….

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) John Cena and his Make a Wish Guest – As much hell as I give this guy, this is the main reason the company uses him as their front man. Tonight Cena gave 3 children a memory they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. While this should not be the premise of why he is pushed as their top competitor it is a result of him being a good person. Anyone who would spend that much time and devotion with those kids deserves the respect of any individual with an ounce on compassion in their hearts.

2) John Cena being injured and looking weak – Here is the other side of the coin. Yes, I dislike the John Cena character and yes I despise him as Champion. Truth is he’s hurt. Is he hurt bad enough to have to surrender the title? I’m not sure. Ryback hit the nail on the head when he said more people wish Cena was injured more frequently. The main reason I agree with this is because during Cena’s injury time more people are allowed to step up to showcase their talents. Randy Orton’s first  WWE Championship came due to Cena’s injury. The company needs to push people on a more regular basis not because they have to when stuff like this happens but more so for the fact that they will be better prepared for alternate story options when they do experience a setback.

3) The Shield –Still my favorite thing about RAW at the moment. While the build up to the main even was chaotic at best the end result both made me happy and shocked me. For the last 2 weeks I expected The Shield to be handed their first loss and for the last 2 weeks I have been proven wrong. I’m very happy to see them still undeafeated but I’m totally shocked Cena took the fall in this match. Not only that he did it cleanly without any shenanagins. I can’t tell you the last time he lost a match clean but it’s something that needs to happen more often. I’m very happy with the way they are handling The Shield and hope it leads to them being Tag Team Champions at Extreme Rules.

4) Dolph Ziggler, Big E Langston and AJ Lee – This is just a great pairing and I love the chemisty they all have. While I wasn’t a fan of Big E I see why they keep him around for Dolph. He’s pretty much The Kevin Nash to Dolph Ziggler’s Shawn Michaels. I don’t see Ziggler losing his first title defense at Extreme Rules and the fact its a ladder match is awesome. Dolph defeated 7 other people in a ladder match to win the contract so it will be entertaining to see him defend it against 3 in the same type of match.

Well there you have it folks, a quick rundown of some of my favorite thoughts and moments pertaining to this week’s episode of RAW. Be sure to check back next Tuesday for the next issue of… RAW IS XANATOS.

Bravo, we’ll written, truth spoken! However, I must admit that I would like to see Taker, Kane, and Bryan open a can of whoop tail on the Shield – ha ha ha…
