Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS! This RAW was live from Roanoke, VA. Just a mere 40 some minutes away from where every member of Kick Out at 2 currently resides. As soon as this was announced I had originally planned to go but I slowly started to see the writing on the wall. Cena would be Champ and Punk wasn’t gonna be there. Sadly I have already seen this show multiple times in the area so I chose to save my money. Looks like it was a good call. For the last two times RAW has been in our area Punk hasn’t been available. Hopefully next time they roll around I will be ringside, marking out more than anyone there the minute Cult of Personality hits. Until then lets reflect on the few shining moments from RAW last night with…RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) Damien Sandow rewriting Orton’s Theme Song. – I’m a big fan of Sandow. This man is the personification of what a Heel should be. That being said I’m a huge fan of Randy Orton but have been less than impressed with the way WWE has handled his character since Wrestlemania 28. Hearing Sandow’s version of Voices was almost as if it was Orton’s own thoughts on his current character. Love their last two matches but man I’m ready for them to pull the trigger on Orton’s Heel turn.

2) Dolph Ziggler vs Alberto Del Rio- Always a pleasure to see the current World Heavyweight Champion in action. Ziggler’s work has helped establish Del Rio as a solid babyface. The amped up version of his music  and slight redo in wardrobe makes me think of him as “The Mexican Ric Flair” I wasn’t a fan of him being face but its fitting him more so now.

3) The Shield –Again still my favorite thing about RAW at the moment. Honestly I’m just getting to the point I can not wait for them to be Tag Team Champions and have some gold in the stable. I would love to see them bring the US or Intercontinental Championship into the group as well but if its just the tag team championships I will be ok with that for now. Hopefully they will be able to defend them with any two members of the group like The Spirit Squad did back in 2006…only this will be cool.

4) Antonio Cesaro “I usually dont ask for a microphone but when I do it’s because I have something important to say. That’s it!?” As soon as I heard Antonio issue a challenge for better competition I almost expected Chris Hero to finally make his RAW debut as Kassius Ohno. Had this happened Shane would have probably flipped out for not attending this and seeing it live. Hopefully this is the groundwork being laid for his debut and a possible Antonio and Ohno feud is on the horizon.

5) Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman and Triple H – Still pretty cool seeing this program unfold. Anything these 3 are invoilved in I really get into. The Triple H vs Brock Lesnar feud is easily my second favorite thing happening on Raw at the moment 2nd only to The Shield.

Well there you have it folks, a quick rundown of some of my favorite thoughts and moments pertaining to this week’s episode of RAW. Be sure to check back next Tuesday for the next issue of… RAW IS XANATOS.
