Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS! Last night’s RAW was a lot better than it has been in recent weeks so that is a much welcome change to the product. Michael Cole is still trying to force feed us the WWE APP but other than that constant nagging it was a pretty decent show. I kinda think that maybe RAW should have been in the U.S. this week for Memorial Day and focused more on our Veterans than being in Canada and focusing on Bret Hart appreciation night. Not saying that both of these things can’t happen at once but maybe a little more planning should have been put into scheduling. During a 3hr show why have the highlight of the night take place after the program? A little jumbled in the layout but overall a good show so lets check out the highlights from this week with… RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) Shawn Michaels on RAW – Always a good thing to see the “Greatest in Ring Performer of All Time” on RAW even though his days of wrestling are over its always good to see HBK on RAW. Nice try WWE trying to use Shawn in a feel good moment with Cena but we are still not gonna see him as the “underdog” or believable champion. That ship sailed years ago. We all know the main reason HBK was there last night and it definitely wasn’t to help put Cena over with the crowd.

2) The Shield Retaining both the United States Championship and Tag Team Titles- Seeing Dean Ambrose defend his United States Championship against Kofi in another awesome match made me happy. Anytime these guys get a solid match on RAW it’s a good thing. Same goes with Reigns and Rollins vs Team Hell No. It looks like Hell No is falling apart with Daniel Bryan hungry to step back into the main event. Something I hoped would come of this. Kane as the sympathetic good-guy partner isn’t believable though. Hopefully their roles will change in the coming weeks.

3) CM Punk vs Chris Jericho announced for WWE Payback –Finally after what seems like an eternity CM Punk is back on RAW… kinda. Even though Punk has only been gone for 6 Weeks it has seemed like forever. The WWE Title picture is so bland with Super-Cena and Ryback being featured as the predominate players. Punk’s return will no doubt fix this and his return match with Chris Jericho will be amazing. These two have had some of my favorite matches and its good to see the battle of “The Best in The World” returning between these two phenomenal superstars.

4) Sheamus and Randy Orton as a Tag Team – It seems like week after week we are seeing Randy Orton and Sheamus as part of a Tag Team. Some weeks its just them together, other times a third is in the mix but they have been pretty consistent in teaming since back around Wrestlemania. Go ahead and make them an official team and a threat to The Shield’s Tag Team Titles. Having these two in a story seeking the Tag Team Championships would be a good way to have Orton turn on Sheamus along the way and have Randy back to being the heel he wants to play so bad.

5) Curtis Axel – So Paul Heymans newest clients has two count out victories over Triple H and John Cena. Not sure if its because he is playing a heel or if it’s because John Cena and Triple H are afraid to put over young talent with a clean pinfall. Part of me wants to say I’m joking but look who we are talking about here. 😉

Well there you have it folks, a quick rundown of some of my favorite thoughts and moments pertaining to this week’s episode of RAW. Be sure to check back next Tuesday for the next issue of… RAW IS XANATOS.

I think it can be safely said that the writer does not like Cena, but remember some (actually many) do.
