Greetings Kick Out at 2 readers and welcome back to this week’s edition of RAW IS XANATOS! Back in 2005 when Shane first introduced me to the likes of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan had someone told us they would be the two main elements of Monday Night RAW in 2013 they probably would have gotten an odd look from us. Now here we are and it seems that RAW has in fact turned a corner and the fans are more interested in the future of the company. That being said if they are wanting to focus on new talent they need to look no further than Daniel Bryan and CM Punk as the corner stone to build this new foundation on. With CM Punk looking to go one on one with a member of the “Ruthless Aggression Era” and Daniel Bryan being No. 1 Contender to the WWE Championship, the landscape of WWE is in a state we haven’t seen. So let’s take a few minutes and highlight this episode of Monday Night RAW with…RAW IS XANATOS!

My Top Moments of this RAW:

1) Daniel Bryan running the gauntlet!   – I can’t tell you the last time we had a gantlet match on RAW. This concept was always one of my favorite match types, especially in the WWE video games. Getting a Daniel Bryan match on RAW is great. Getting 3 in a row? Well that’s just simply incredible.

2) “The Best” vs “The Beast”- CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar is officially set for SummerSlam. Aside from Daniel Bryan being No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship this angle has been the one that has held my interest.  I have wanted this match since CM Punk uttered the name of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman 2 years ago and made them relevant in the WWE again. Without Punk these two would probably have never stepped foot back in WWE.

3) The Prime Time Players – I was pretty happy these guys got singles matches on RAW last night. Especially Titus O’Neil. I have been in this guys corner since day one and like JBL said once it all clicks for this guy he is going to be a huge Superstar in WWE.

4) Mark Henry and The Usos Mark Henry has been picking up steam as of late. I think this momentum stems from the respect and admiration of the fans. Mark failed to capture the WWE Champion but he was clearly the fan favorite going in. Teaming him with The Usos could be a very good call. If SummerSlam features Mark Henry vs Dean Ambrose for The US Championship and The Shield vs The Usos for the Tag Team Titles I think we we clearly have a new stable on our hands for the Summer months.

5) RVD – Two weeks in a row this guys has had a great match on RAW. RVD hasn’t missed a step and its good to have him back in a company that can actually afford to pay their talent.

Well there you have it folks, a quick rundown of some of my favorite thoughts and moments pertaining to this week’s episode of RAW. Be sure to check back next Tuesday for the next issue of… RAW IS XANATOS.
