Gone but never forgotten….

We still miss you Eddie. 8 years have gone by yet it feels like only yesterday you were “Lying, Cheating and Stealing” the show in a way that only you could.

Each year since you’ve passed away, I always take time on this date to reflect on the impact you had on me, not only as a fan but as a human being as well.

Watching you live your life as an open book made me understand how important it is to leave a mark on this world and how precious our time here on earth really is. You showed me how people should cherish friends and loved ones and how to remain strong no matter what darkness we may face in our life.

Faith and strength can allow us to overcome any obstacle and you were a prime example of that. At the end of the day the connection we have with those around us determine what kind of legacy we leave behind… and what a legacy you have left sir.

The sport of Professional Wrestling still mourns the loss of one of the all time greats to this very day. We are lucky to have had the opportunity to witness your life and if we leave behind a legacy half as good as yours… then we will have lead a very good life indeed.
